For the protection of your prefabricated pit there is the possibility of a manual as well as an automated pit cover. These are graded according to load capacity and support loads from 500 kg to 15 t. The decisive question is who or what the pit cover has to support? Depending on the design, the pit cover can be drivable.

HDC - Pit cover Snake

The HDC - pit cover "Snake" can be used not only for new pits, but can also be retrofitted to almost all pits.

The "folded" cover segments (ALU or steel) are placed inside a narrow and easy to maintain box at the front side of the pit. This means that you do not need any substructures in the area of the pit floor. The drive is provided by a simple gear motor inside the bearing box. Due to the design of the ball-bearing mounted smooth-running segments, only a motor with a power of max. 1.6 KW is required for a 10 t cover. The drive is effected via a gear wheel at the outlet of the receiving box.
